We see it as our social responsibility to support charitable organizations of our region. Especially projects which help deprived people are very important. Hence the proceeds of the last Brandenburger Christmas tombola went to the Landauer Tafel e.V..
Also at the last Christmas celebration of the Brandenburger Group the apprentices organized a Christmas tombola with the support of our business partners. The two company divisions Brandenburger Isoliertechnik and Brandenburger Liner rounded up the profits of this tombola and thus every division donated 1.000 € to the Landauer Tafel e.V.. On 22nd February 2017 the Managing Directors Tim Brandenburger and Peter Schwab visited Kerstin Baudisch at the Tafel in Landau to hand over the donation and to learn more about the work of this association.
It is only possible to maintain such an organization by dedicated volunteers and financial support. The Landauer Tafel e.V. always try to keep their costs as low as possible but they have to pay fixed costs for rent, insurances, expenses for the fleet and many other costs. 45 unpaid volunteers supply 1.200 people a week with food and if time allows they also take care of personal issues of the people that come to the Tafel on Tuesdays and Fridays. That work deserves our respect.
It is a pleasure for the Brandenburger Group to support the Landauer Tafel e.V. with this donation and wishes the entire team continued success.
